Here's when Windows 10 comes out by Kim Komando

With Windows 10, though, Microsoft seems to be headed back in the right direction. It brought back the Start Menu in a nicely updated form, apps have a window mode just like any other program, and it automatically detects what gadget you're using and changes the interface to suit.

In addition, Windows 10 is getting an all-new browser to replace Internet Explorer, support for Microsoft's amazing HoloLens headset, support for biometric readers to support more fingerprint and eye scanners, and compatibility with Xbox games. It's also bringing back an essential program that was missing in Windows 8.

Plus, let's not forget, it's a free upgrade for Windows 7 and 8 users. Yep, you read that right: free. That's how badly Microsoft wants to put Windows 8 behind it.

The most annoying thing about Windows 10 is that it isn't out yet. Yes, you can download and run the preview version right now, but those are incomplete and a bit buggy for everyday use.

Microsoft wasn't being very helpful, just saying it would be "sometimes this summer." However, AMD chief executive Lisa Su accidentally revealed a bit more on a recent conference call.

According to her, Windows 10 is going to be out in late July. That's still not a solid date, but at least it means we won't be waiting until the end of August or even later.
